Depends on your Dagger Mastery. If you have 16 DM, it's roughly 20%.

actually, dagger mastery more affects your double strikes than your critical strikes according to description...

It's quite easy, crits are alot higher than the highest non-crit you can make, so you should be able to figure it out. Also, if someone's running away from you, it's automatically a critical hit.
Dagger Mastery affects you chance to land a double-strike and a critical hit, I think. Critical Strikes only affects your critical hits.
Crits are based on this:
Maximum dmg and +4 in your weapon attribute.
Note: Not sure on everything I wrote, some of it might be just stuff I remembered wrong.

From the mechanics in the guides [unless changed/altered/updated/sexed/raped/etc.] a crit is treated like this:
maximum weapon damage
weapon stat % 100% @ 12 to 115% at 16 I think
and the enemy's AL -20% [that's right, not -20AL, -20% AL]
You'll more easily notice crits vs. a high armor type than a squishy type and yes, they hurt...

Double Strike =/= Crtical Hit
The base chance crit with a dagger *should* be the same as the base chance to crit with other weapons ([email protected] should crit as often as [email protected], ignoring other crit-boosting mods). Level difference does effect critical rate, but armor level does not. Ensign's damage article should still be relevent.

Yeah, I know. Its 3:00 AM and you caught me before I realized my mistake. I was reading NatlieD's (I think) post about Frenzy and how Double Strikes make up for a lack of IAS, got confused.
